The SECOND edition of the JACKALOPE RACE will take place in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, November 16, 2025. The race begins in south Doña County from Vado, heading north towards Mesquite and Las Cruces. Race time is 8:30 AM. This is a long distance easy course challenge for MTB and GRAVEL.

Consider it a mountain fondo by completing two laps (approx. 54 miles) or half (about 27 miles). High speed easy ride. Soft sand and even looser gravel with some chunk. Hydration check points provided to help you go the distance. GRAVEL course differs slightly (24 mile loop). Only overall top 3 men and 3 top women get podium and prizes in the 1 lap GRAVEL category. For the 2 lap GRAVEL category, podium and prizes available for the overall top 5 men and 5 top women. Top 3 podium by age category (-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) for the 2 laps GRAVEL category. Similarly, only overall top 3 men and top 3 women get podium and prizes in the 1 lap MTB category (27 mile loop). Top 3 podium by age category (-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) for the 2 laps MTB category. No podium or prizes by age category in the 1 lap categories. Reduced fees for riders under 18. Cost is 65.00$ (55.00$ under 18). FIRST 100 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A T-SHIRT.

Online registration closes on Friday November 14 at 5:00 PM. If still available, registration will continue during packet pick-up on Saturday November 15. Two packet pick-up locations; Border Bicycle in El Paso 9:00-12:00 AM and at Outdoor Adventures in Las Cruces 2:00-5:00 PM.
